- At a special meeting held on August 5, the council approved the Building & Grounds committee's recommendation to hire Noffke Roofing to replace the sanctuary roof. The project will be completed during the month of September.
- At the regularly scheduled council meeting on August 16 it was recommended that the church consider replacing the existing boiler with a high-efficiency heating system, as a recent energy audit revealed significant savings could be realized. The matter will be given further consideration when next year's budget is prepared.
- A final copy of the Building Use Policy was presented and approved. It was decided that as part of the church's funeral policy an honorarium will be paid to the sound technicians who work at funerals in the building.
