Our purpose in children's ministry is to provide a safe, caring environment where Christian discipleship can be modeled and nurtured through the creative teaching of God's Word and through the participation in a loving Christian community. We look at children's ministry through the eyes of children. Our music, learning spaces, and lessons are always planned and implemented with children in mind. All of our curriculum is biblically based and age appropriate.
Children’s Ministry Programming Sunday mornings from 8:00AM to 12:05PM Our worship services begin at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00.
Nursery Christ-centered nursery classrooms are available for infants through preschoolers during all three morning services. Classrooms are staffed by church volunteers and parents participating in our Parent Co-Op. Christian Education is taught during first and third hours to our preschoolers ages 2-4K. During second hour, preschoolers participate in Preschool Praise within their classroom. Children may be registered at our Team Leader table on the lower level. All children receive security wristbands before checking into their appropriate class.
Christian Education (CE) Programming Christian Education and enrichment programs are offered all three hours for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Here students will learn scriptural truths to lay a strong biblical foundation and to supplement their spiritual growth within the family unit. Kindergarten and 1st graders also wear security wristbands. Students K5 through 3rd grade should be escorted to class and also picked up from their classrooms by a parent.
In addition to security wristbands, Meadowbrook strives to maintain a safe environment for our children by screening all volunteers and conducting background checks. Please refer to our Child Protection Policy (available at the Team Leader desk) for more details.
